A Detecting Method on Short Stub of RS-485 Bus

  • 摘要: 文中讨论了RS-485总线的几种拓扑形式,分析了总线短路的几种故障模式.提出了一种基于电流检测的短路故障检测技术,并说明了它的工作原理,最后给出了实验结果.该技术可以有效提高基于RS-485物理层的串行高速总线的可靠性.

     

    Abstract: This paper discussed the several common topologic structure of the RS-485 Bus, and analyzed its short mode of the stub. A new short-circuit detection technology based on current detection techniques has been proposed to improve the RS-485 bus reliability, the working scheme also has been described. A real test result has been given. The method can effectively improve the reliability of the high speed serial bus based on RS-485 physical layer.
