A MAC Protocol Based on Spatial TDMA for Ad Hoc Networks Using Directional Antenna

  • 摘要: 提出了一种新的基于空分TDMA的定向Ad Hoc网MAC协议,它根据节点位置和天线方向图,自适应地选择干扰判断角度,在此基础上采用贪婪算法对所有节点进行配对,具有较高的空间复用度,并采用捎带技术加快了全局共享信息的扩散速度;给出了协议帧结构和相应算法,理论分析与仿真结果表明该协议能有效改进网络效率,且具有较好的工程实用性.

     

    Abstract: A new MAC protocol based on spatial TDMA for Ad Hoc networks using directional antenna was put forward.It adaptively chose interference angle threshold in terms of nodes position and antenna pattern,then applied greedy algorithm to generate pairs of nodes to realize high spatial reuse,and adopted piggyback technology to speed up information propagation all over network.The MAC protocol frame structure and corresponding algorithms were presented.Analysis and simulation results showed that our protocol can improve network efficiency,and was applicable for engineering fulfillment.
