Abstract:
A chaotic image encryption algorithm is presented with the spatiotemporal chaotic properties of coupled map lattices.With the random number sequences generated from coupled map lattices,8 bit-level images divided from the plain image are permuted as a group.Then the image pixel-level diffusion is carried on bitwise XOR operation with selecting a corresponding combination of random number sequences.Simulation results show that the performance and security of the proposed algorithm is better than those of other existing algorithms.
