Method of Increasing the GPS Processing Gain by Using Bit Transition Detection

  • 摘要: 研究了一种利用导航数据位跳变信息提高GPS信号处理增益的方法.通过充分使用数字信号处理技术, 对多段连续的、长度一定的数据进行相关处理, 并比较多次的相关结果, 从而估计出导航数据位发生跳变所在的数据段 (数据段长度只要在1~5ms内即可) .利用这个跳变位置, 就可以避开数据位跳变位置以及受其影响的数据, 从而延长参加相干积分的数据长度.研究结果表明, 利用得到的位跳变位置, 可以在使用同样数据长度的情况下, 使接收机处理增益提高1.45~5.23dB.

     

    Abstract: Using navigation message data bit transition detection, a method for increasing GPS signal processing gain is studied.Several continuous data segments are matched by using digital signal processing technique, and coarse bit transition position can be achieved from the matched results.Therefore, more data bit coherent integration results (except for the results affected by data bit transition) can be accumulated to achieve a relative high processing gain.The result shows that the processing gain will be enhanced of 1.45~5.23dB when using the same data length as traditional method.
