Abstract: In this paper, an independent framework for rich-client technology, the characteristics of the WEBGIS in the performance of interactive, map rendering, figure Zodiac integration, data collaboration and other aspects of the expansion and realization of the relevant model and prototype system.Proposed the X3D-based rich client WEBGIS prototype system design and application, and conduct a pilot study to overcome the shortcomings of traditional WEBGIS.
