Study of a Visualized and Parallel Simulation Method for M5

  • 摘要: 针对目前使用M5模拟器时出现的两个主要问题,提出一种面向M5的图形化配置与并行测试方法,通过可视化界面实现被测试系统中功能部件的连接和属性配置,并自动生成运行M5所需的Python脚本,同时支持多核处理器上多个测试程序的并行运行,提高了M5模拟器的使用效率.

     

    Abstract: In this paper, we present a graphical tool and a parallel simulation method for M5. Designers can configure the target architecture efficiently using this visualized tool, which automatically generate the Python scripts according to the interconnection between components. It also supports multiple benchmarks configuration and simulation. In view of this, it improves the efficiency of system simulation when using M5.
