Abstract: The basic Mobile IP to provide support for mobile nodes, but the triangular routing problem has been one of its serious shortcomings.Through analysis of existing solutions, a new route optimization scheme based on SMR (support of the mobile router functionality) is proposed, and achieve this routing algorithm in NS2 and analyze its performance.
