FFT-Based Acquisition for Weak GPS Signals

  • 摘要: 提出了一种新的基于FFT的微弱GPS信号快速捕获算法, 通过块叠加运算和FFT结果的循环移位, 改进了传统的FFT捕获方式, 大大降低捕获的计算量, 缩短微弱信号长时间积分的捕获时间.分析了算法的理论模型, 并利用真实信号在Matlab平台上对算法进行仿真实现.仿真结果表明, 在积分时间不超过150ms的情况下, 该算法能成功捕获信号强度低于-150dBm的微弱GPS信号.

     

    Abstract: This paper presented a new FFT-based parallel acquisition algorithm, which modified the traditional FFT-based acquisition, cut down the computation and shortened the acquisition time needed for long time integration in weak GPS acquisition through block addition and circular shift of FFT, then detailed the theory model of algorithm and simulated the algorithms with real GPS signal on Matlab platform in the later part of this paper.The experiment results showed that signals below-150dBm could be acquired successfully with integration time less than 150ms.
