Abstract: On the base of analyzing the distribution energy between equalized channel and the no-equalized channel, a practical delay-estimation algorithm is proposed, it makes a significant decline in the amount of computing. The cost function of the MMSE equalization algorithm is improved, as the simulation shows, under the conditions of the same mean-square error, the bit rate and the SNR are better than the original algorithm.
