Design and Application of High Performance Flash/FRAM Hybrid Architecture Data Storing System

  • 摘要: 针对某些大容量存储系统数据改写频繁及Flash存储器寿命有限的弊端, 设计了一种Flash/FRAM混合结构的高性能数据存储系统.提出了将Flash文件系统中的系统记录区、文件索引表以及改写频繁的实时数据放在FRAM中、而大批的历史数据则保存在Flash中的存储方案, 并给出了系统结构及实现方法.实验表明, 这种混合结构有效地提高了数据存储效率和存储可靠性.

     

    Abstract: Aiming at the disadvantage of continual access and life limitation of flash memory in some mass storage system, this paper propose a high performance Flash/FRAM hybrid architecture data storing system and bring forward storage scheme which the system log area, file index table and real time data are storaged in FRAM, whereas the bulk historical data are in Flash.It also provide a system structure and implementation method.Experimental results show this hybrid architecture effectually improve the access efficiency and reliability.
