Congestion Window Optimization Control Strategy of TCP Design

  • 摘要: 针对传统TCP协议在复杂网络环境下应用具有一定局限性,提出了一种拥塞窗口优化调整的 TCP控制策略。该控制策略在拥塞避免阶段通过对数增长函数来动态调整拥塞窗口的变化,在发送端连续收到3次重复ACK或timeout时根据当前网络带宽对拥塞窗口进行较为合理的调整。仿真实验证明:该控制策略在不同网络环境下与传统TCP控制策略相比,吞吐量有所提高,改善了网络性能。

     

    Abstract: In view of the traditional TCP control protocol used in the limitations of heterogeneous network, the congestion window optimization TCP control strategy is proposed. The control strategy carries the logarithmic function to dynamically adjust the congestion window's changes in congestion avoidance phase. when the transmitting terminal receives 3 times of repetitive ACK or timeout in a row, adjust the congestion window reasonably according to the current network bandwidth.Simulation results show that the control strategy increases the throughput and improves the network performance compared with the traditional TCP control strategy in different network environment.
