Approach of Image Zooming Based on Sobel Operators and Blending Rational Interpolation

  • 摘要: 为改善图像缩放质量, 提出一种基于Sobel算子和非线性混合有理插值的图像缩放方法.将Sobel算子应用于图像的轮廓提取, 利用二元Newton-Thiele型向量连分式建立有理插值曲面, 然后对插值函数进行重采样, 按要求实现图像缩放.实验结果表明, 该方法能有效应用于数字图像的缩放处理, 具有计算简单、易于编程实现等优点, 是一种较实用的方法.

     

    Abstract: In order to enhance image zooming quality, this paper presents a image zooming method based on Sobel operators and non-linear blending rational.First, used a Sobel operator to extracting image outline.And then built rational interpolation surface by bivariate Newton-Thiele's vector continued fraction.Finally, resampled the rational interpolation function and achieved the image zooming according the request.The experimental results show that this method is efficient in processing image zooming, and easy to calculate and program, so it is a more practical method.
