Modeling and Analysis of the CAN Bus in Automotive Control System Using Network Calculus

  • 摘要: 针对汽车控制系统CAN总线的实时性问题,提出一种汽车控制系统CAN总线的网络演算模型。利用网络演算分别建立了汽车控制系统CAN总线的达到曲线和服务曲线模型,有效地模拟了汽车控制系统CAN总线的确定性行为特性。最后,以某汽车控制系统CAN总线为例,计算得到了各个消息帧的最大延迟,验证了所提方法的有效性,该方法可用于汽车控制系统CAN总线的设计与性能评价。

     

    Abstract: To solve the problem of the CAN bus real-time performance evaluation in automotive control system (ACS),a new model of the CAN bus in ACS with network calculus (NC) is proposed.The arrival curve and service curve of the CAN bus in ACS are built with NC,which can describe the certainty behavior of the CAN bus in ACS. Finally,these maximum delays of every message frame are obtained by a case study of one CAN bus in ACS,and the proposed method is validated and it can be used for design and performance evaluation of the CAN bus in ACS.
