面向SystemC的软错误敏感度分析方法

Method to Analyze Soft Error Sensitivity for SystemC

  • 摘要: 随着集成电路不断发展,软错误问题日益凸显,对系统可靠性造成越来越严重的影响.通对电路软错误率的分析可以准确评估系统可靠性,并为系统加固提供帮助.提出了一种面向SystemC的快速软错误敏感度分析方法:以分层抽样策略对系统接口与内部所有信号进行故障注入,结合统计结果与面积因子,评估系统软错误敏感度.实验以基于OR1200处理器最小系统的SystemC模型为对象,采用仿真故障注入方法构建测试平台,实现故障注入自动化.通过3个测试程序共计约30万次的注入实验,统计分析表明寄存器文件、PC计算以及指令缓存模块对软错误更加敏感.

     

    Abstract: With the continuous development of VLSI technology, the increasing soft error problem has caused more and more serious impact on system reliability. The analysis of circuit soft error rate can be used to evaluate the system reliability and support the system reinforcement. This paper proposed a method to analyze soft error sensitivity for SystemC:evaluating the system soft error sensitivity according to the area factor and statistical result based on fault injection on system interface and internal signals by stratified sampling strategy. This experiment takes the SystemC model which is the minimum system based on OR1200 processor as the research prototype, constructs the test platform based on the simulated fault injection method, and realizes the fault injection automation. Based on the total of about 300,000 times simulation experiment through 3 test procedures, the statistical analysis indicates that the register file, PC generator and instruction cache modules are more sensitive for soft error.
