基于显著点切片的三维模型检索

3D Model Retrieval Based on the Significant Slice

  • 摘要: 提出了使用模型显著点进行切片的方法以及基于点分布和Zernike矩的融合特征提取方法.首先在模型三个方向均匀设定截取平面,然后根据三维模型表面顶点的曲率特性,确定显著点,对截取平面进行更新,获取切片.对得到的切片序列,提取点分布特征和Zernike矩特征,并根据切片包围盒大小确定两个特征的权重.实验结果表明,通过所提出的方法获取到的切片序列能较好地描述模型特征,融合后的特征能有效提高三维模型的查准率.

     

    Abstract: This paper presents a method that the salient points of the model are used to get the slice and a feature extraction method which is based on Zernike moments and the points' distribution. Firstly, the intercept planes were set in three directions evenly, and then the salient points based on the curvature of the surface vertexes of the 3D model were determined. Intercept planes were updated by the salient points, and the slice was obtained. The characteristics of Zernike moments and points' distribution of the slice sequence were extracted. The weight of two features were determined according to the slicing bounding box size. The experimental results show that slices got with the method can describe the model's characteristics better, and the fused features can improve the precision of the model retrieval.
