Design of a Low Power Sub-threshold CMOS Low Noise Amplifier for Wireless Sensor Network

  • Design of a low power CMOS low noise amplifier (LNA) in sub--threshold region is presented, which is applied for wireless sensor network. In order to meet the low power and high gain, cascode LNA should be adopted and simulated by the using the UMC 65nm CMOS process. The simulation results show that, the circuit operating at the 780MHz could achieve a 34dB gain and the power consumption is only 55μW for 1.2VDC; voltage.
