The Design of Ultra-Low Power Integrated AC/DC PMIC

In order to decrease the power dissipation and increase the efficiency of AC/DC PMIC in normal and stand-by state, the paper begins with analyzing the total power dissipation of the whole system and then presents the circuits to decrease the power dissipation of relevant parts.The control circuits and power MOS are integrated in a chip and the chip can work in QR mode, PFM mode and BURST mode.The whole chip is designed and simulated based on CSMC 1μm 700V BCD technology.The simulation results meet the requirement of the previous expectations.
