Low Power Associated Coding Design Based on Multi-Path Routing NoC

  • Concerning the power consumption of self transitions based on multi-path routing NoC, the invert coding (BI) and gray coding are combined to work together. according to the data format of wormhole routing NoC, the invert coding are improved. We divide data into several groups and use the invert coding separately to reduce power consumption significantly. Considering that the transition algorithm do not perform so well when applied to sequential data, we use gray coding to implement associated coding. Experimental results show that the associated coding can reduce power consumption of NoC effectively.
