A New Mechanism for GML Data Storing and Querying

With the GML's development and widespread use of geospatial information under WebGIS environment,more and more geographical data expresses in GML format.However,it brings inconvenient for GML data storing and querying.In this paper,based on the GML document features,we propose a new mechanism for GML data storing and querying,which stores GML data in the object-relational database,then does queries corresponding to the key words that users provide for searching according to the storing patterns and nodes relation of GML data in the object-relational database,and last return the searching result as the SVG format to users.Experimental result shows that the method brought forward in this paper is feasible and efficient.
