Research onTwo-level Packet Split Multicast NoC Router

This paper proposes an improved multicast packet split mechanism based on the multicast routing algorithm of hierarchical network structure; this paper designs and implements the multicast network.This mechanism effectively reduces the overall delay of multicast packets without introducing new deadlocks when the destination node is the upstream node and the neighboring nodes in the upstream path.The experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to the destination node in the upstream path and its neighborhood.The transmission delay is reduced by 50.3%, as opposed to no split transmission.
