Study and Application of a New Image Encryption Algorithm

  • A new chaotic color image encryption algorithm is presented with the perfect properties of chaotic sequences. At first, the chaotic sequences are generated of Logistic and Cubic-Henon compound chaotic maps. Then the color image is encrypted combining the methods of pixel value substituting and position shuffling. And the image secure communication system based on chaos is designed and implemented, using key synchronization scheme of “ond image with one key”. The results of system testing show that the algorithm is valid and has good performance.
