Design of the Wideband Monitoring System in Spectrum Sensing WSN

  • A WSN-based novel wideband monitor system in spectrum sensing is proposed in this paper. By using the mechanism of cooperative sensing with frequency dividing and sensing data fusion, the functionalities of multi-band synchronization and wideband spectrum sensing are implemented in this system. Meanwhile, the architecture of spectrum sensing nodes and the sink nodes were designed, an improved LEACH clustering protocol suitable for wideband spectrum sensing WSN was proposed, and the corresponding energy consumption was analyzed. Finally, a simulation is carried out on NS2 for verification of system energy consumption, data service types, and the enabled routing strategy of this system. The simulation results show that, the improved LEACH clustering routing protocol achieves an energy consumption balance, and therefore can prolong the system lifecycle effectively.
