Research on Dynamic Channel Switching in Multi-interface Multi-channel Wireless Mesh Networks

  • The paper first describes current common dynamic switching methods of channels, and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages respectively.Then aims to their shortcomings that it is difficult for requiring synchronization between communication nodes to achieve or it has effect on networks throughput due to requiring a common control channel for every node to solve the contention problem of data channels, to propose a channel queues-based dynamic switching method of channels.The method needn't a synchronization mechanism and a common control channel for the proposed dynamic switching method, Each interface can generate the next new switching channel through the first element of channel queue, the better to ensure transmission fairness for each channel;channel switching sequences can generate independently using QDSAC, and the computational cost is also low, the better to ensure the real-time for the generation of channel switching sequences, thereby increases networks throughput.
