Research of Parameterized System-level Model for Dynamically Reconfigurable Co-processors

  • This paper presents a parameterized system-level model, which is independent of any concrete reconfigurable architecture and deals with the hardware tasks with the formation of placement and reconfiguration separated. The hardware architecture and placement algorithm of different design can be configured in the model by parameters. The system-level model is constructed with SystemC, and the results show that it can simulate dynamic reconfiguration for the system-level design space exploration by specifying the parameters of context download time, configuration time and execution time.
