A Remote Information Collecting and Monitoring Multifunctional Embedded System

A remote information collecting and monitoring multifunctional embedded system based on ARM-Linux is presented in this paper, realizing environmental information, images information and related equipment switches status information collecting and monitoring on the spot where the heavy-duty optoelectronic telescope works.using the CGI technology, through development of devices drivers programming, Internet programming and serial communication programming, sending and receiving SMS programming based on GSM network and collecting images information programming, access the boa web server which in the device of the system, the collected environment information will be showed on the web page directly and real-timely.Moreover, it can realize to control the switch value of the device on the spot.Using mobile phone, in the way of sending SMS can also realize these functions conveniently.The remote monitoring system has advantages of reliability and good real-time performance.
