A Data Service Model of Supporting Science and Technology Information Sharing

This paper presents a data service model of sharing science and technology information.The model supports publishing and sharing scientific data in the form of services especially describing the quality of the data itself such as data capacity,data redundancy,data anomalies and data integrity and also gives the methods to access and update quality information.The model provides reference information of data characteristics and quality information for users in the service level and benefits users of technology selection and use.It can realize effective sharing of science and technology information resources.Its effectiveness is verified initially by the application in National Science and Technology Information Service.
