Research and Implementation of Surveying and Mapping Production Management System Based on J2EE and ArcIMS

The environmental changes in network and the existence of heterogeneous data bring new requirements for the architecture and functions of WebGIS, with a sum up of the background of J2EE and ArcGIS, the J2EE multi-tier distributed application model and ArcGIS platform were adopted to build an information management system of the survey and mapping production, which is very maintainable and extendable and can conveniently realize reuse and assembly of software components.Then the system's database design, overall architecture and function modules were discussed;and implementation method of the spatial information publishing and non-spatial information maintenance using EJB component technology was introduced in detail.
