Design and implementation of a pipeline processing HSV adjustment circuit

  • The rapid development of digital image processing technology requires more powerful and high performance graphics processors to provide support. In order to meet the requirement that the graphics processor can change a color attribute (hue, saturation or value) separately to adjust the video image display effect without affecting other attributes when video image processing is carried out in the RGB color space, this paper studies the design and implementation of an HSV adjustment circuit for pipeline processing. Key module includes RGB to HSV color space conversion, HSV adjustment and HSV to RGB color space conversion are adopted to design the circuit, especially realizing the core module HSV adjustment. Finally, The verification of HSV adjustment circuit is completed by module level simulation verification, system level virtual simulation verification and FPGA prototype verification, the results show that the design function and performance meet the requirements and realize the HSV adjustment function of pipeline processing, so as to achieve the ideal video image processing effect.
