A SysmtemC-based NoC Full-System Simulator

  • This paper presents a configurable NoC (Network-on-Chip) full-system simulator based on the SystemC.The simulator implements a Cycle-Accurate transaction-level model for routers, processor nodes, memory nodes and IO nodes, and provides analysis tools to evaluate the performance and influence factors of each router node.The results show that the simulator is fast, flexible and high-accuracy.On the platform of 2.4GHz Intel Core2 processor, the Cycle-Accurate simulation with 4×4-scale NoC can reach about 130k cycles per second.Comparing with the results of the test program running on the real system, the difference between the simulator and the real system is less than 4%.
