A Detection Method of Hardware Trojans Based on RTL

With the development of the integrated circuits and the transform of industrial distribution, it becomes more and more popular for some company to rely on the third party to design their chips. To ensure the sercurity of chip design flow has become the concern of people. With the context of the main detections of Hardware Trojan, the paper proposed a method to detect the RTL level HTs, based on the verilog IEEE characteristics and the AES benchmarks and the powerful capability of text-matching of perl, thus, to ensure security from the initial design.
