An Improved Scheme for Byzantine Fault-Tolerance in WSNs

  • This paper designs an improved byzantine fault-tolerant scheme in allusion to the specific environment of wireless sensor networks.Compared to the traditional byzantine scheme,this scheme can reduce the number of rounds of messages exchange greatly between network nodes so that improving the efficiency and reducing communication overhead and energy consumption.Simulation results show that by using the improved fault-tolerant scheme,not only can all the normal network nodes reach an agreement,but also the number of rounds of messages exchange are much less than that of traditional byzantine scheme.
