An Image Encryption Algorithm Based on Multidimensional Chaotic Systems in Spatial and Frequency Domain

  • This paper proposes an image encryption algorithm based on coupled Logistic chaotic map and Chen's chaotic attractor. Firstly, the low-frequency coefficients of the image wavelet decomposition are adjusted by the Logistic chaotic sequence. Secondly, the image after the wavelet reconstruction is encrypted by the Chen's chaotic system. To further enhance the encryption performance. The experimental results demonstrate that the encryption algorithm not only has a large key space but also has a very sensitivity with respect to the secret key and the original image. The encryption algorithm proposed in this paper possesses perfect diffusion and confusion properties and it can resist the various attacks.
