Analysis of the Aggregation Characteristics of Concurrent Streaming Media Traffic

    Abstract
  • This paper analyzed the self-similarity degree and waiting time under varying aggregating level.The experiment reveals that waiting time can be improved efficiently with scientific aggregating and the self-similarity is degraded significantly with the increase of concurrent level.The results of this paper are fairly useful in the design of the Next Generation Broadcasting network (NGB) .
