Image Mosaic Method Research Based on Improved SIFT and Contourlet Transform

Based on the improved 2DPCA-SIFT algorithm, this paper presents a new method of image mosaic based on Contourlet transform. The advantage of using Contourlet transform for image fusion is that it can eliminate the color difference and make the image more clear after fusion. Experimental results show that this method can improve the speed and precision of image registration, and enhance the effect of image mosaic.
