Research and Development of Detection System for Road Rut

Abstract
In order to provide accurate road rut data, a measurement method with multi-laser-displacement-sensors is presented. CPLD chip generate signals for linear CCD, using 51 series microcontroller and the FPGA to complete the CCD data reading, and then drive the network chips, the data in accordance with UDP protocol to send to the host computer to Rutting real-time detection. The test results show that the method can measure the shape of the entire 1ane of the road surface, detection of high accuracy, fast detection.
