Transaction Level Modeling of IEEE802.3 MAC for Different Use Cases
In this paper, TLM methodology is studied for IEEE 802.3MAC.Based on SystemC and TLM 2.0, two use cases, i.e., Programmer′s View (PV) and Verification View (VV) , are established.By analyzing frame transmission and reception of MAC (Media Access Controller) , trade-offs between speed and accuracy of the TLM in different use cases are presented.
