A Load Balancing Mechanism for Cluster Systems Based on Discrete Uniform Distribution

  • To reduce the possibility of balancer becomes performance bottleneck in cluster, a dynamic adaptive weighted load-balanced computing mechanism is presented in this paper. In this mechanism, each server sends the ask stream at different rates to balancer based on the principle of discrete uniform distribution to achieve the dynamic negative feedback on workload. Simulation test results show that the algorithm is better than static algorithm. Compared with the dynamic algorithm, it can also reduce the burden on load balancer.
