Multiple Gateway Anycast QoS Routing Model in Wireless Mesh Networks

  • The gateways often become the bottleneck in wireless mesh network. Based on the research of recent representative gateway selection schemes, a gateway selection model based on anycast is presented to solute the gateway selection problem and to improve the QoS performance. In this model, all the gateway nodes were abstracted as a anycast group and the clients with QoS constraint can adaptively select the best gateway node for its services through effective anycast mechanism, in order to ensure good wireless Mesh access performance. Simulation results show that the algorithm has better performance.
