A Modified AODV Protocol Based on Node Mobility

Mobile Ad hoe network is a self-organized network formed dynamically and temporarily by mobile nodes. Routing protocols is a key problem and critical to mobile ad hoe network. In this paper, an effective modified version of AODV, named AODV-NM, is proposed. AODV-NM is able to adjust the frequency of RREQ flooding to obtain the stable path. The simulation results show that the new protocol could decrease routing load in ad hoe networks and improve the performance of delay and PDF simultaneously.
