A Optimization Method for XML Query Based MapReduce

Research on xml query based MapReduce gets more and more attentions.It is an important issue to promote performance of xml query.In order to reduce split size of xml documents,xml splits are pre-processed by xpath projection in the precondition of correct query result and consistency of xml splits.Experiments show that the optimization method effectively reduces query processing time of xml data.
