Mixed Coding-Based Gentic Algorithm for Multi-Peak Global Optimization

  • This paper presents an improved mixed coding-based genetic algorithm by using golden section ratio to partition Gray code and real-coded boundary. The experimental results show that this algorithm not only has higher rate to obtain optimal solution or approximate the optimal solution for multimodal problems, can not be easy to fall into local convergence, but also has stronger ability to jump out of local extremum.
