A Power Adaptive Routing Protocol for 3D-Network on Chip

This paper establish a 3D power model, and a 3D power adaptive routing protocol is proposed which combined with the turn routing model.This 3D routing protocol can make dynamic routing decisions to optimize the power distribution in the network, and avoid the hotspot effectively.Experiments demonstrate this routing protocol can effectively regulate network power distribution, maximum and variance of power can decrease by 11.57% and 24.61% at best respectively.
