VANET Routing on the Use of WAVE/WiMAX Hybrid

A adaptive routing protocol for hybrid VANET with vehicle density aware is proposed, which can achieve real-time traffic estimation in whole network, select WiMAX or WAVE network to send data packets according to the node density adaptively and build source routing.The simulations indicate the packet delivery is tremendously improved and the average delay decreases in the case of smaller growth of the WiMAX cost.
