Dual-Band CMOS LNA for Multimode GNSS Receiver

  • A dual-band low-noise amplifier (LNA) for RF front-end of multimodal GNSS receiver is presented, which is capable of handling input signals near by 1.575 GHz and 1.267 GHz.All of the inputs and outputs are matched to 50 Ω.A 0.18 μm CMOS process is used for the circuit.measurement results show that the LNA has a noise figure of 0.88 dB and 0.78 dB, a power gain of 25.5 dB and 25.9 dB, a S11 of-16 dB and-12.5 dB, a P1 dB of-23.4 dBm and-23.6 dBm with good stability and bias current of 4.0 mA from a 1.8 V supply at 1.575 GHz and 1.267 GHz respectively. The circuit can satisfy the requirements very well.
