A Hierarchical WebGIS Model Based on Component Applied in Highway System

A hierarchical WebGIS model based on component named as CHGIS is presented.The architecture and design of each layer in CHGIS are discussed in detail.An application of CHGIS in Shaoguan highway information service website is presentation.The model has favorable flexibility and good retractile,and avoids many problems of maintenance and upgrade generally caused by traditional development.
