Study on Convergence of Heterogeneous Wireless Mesh Sensor Networks in Coal Mine

It analyzed the characteristics and heterogeneity among the sensor networks and the Ethernet network, hierarchical convergent gateway structure model was proposed, and it designed unified data packet format and unified address coding method of the network. Mesh terminal with multiple switching interface, could intelligently access to different networks according to the automatic switching management technology. The gateway could communicate with each other barrier freely in the voice, video and data transmission application based on 802.11, 802.15 and 802.3 protocols, the two-way communication of the gateway made the peer to peer communication between networks, it realized the whole network interconnection, barrier free communication finally.
