Green Data Center: Energy-Saving Mechanism and Policy of Servers
This paper firstly introduces the measurement of data center's energy efficiency and the proportion of components,illustrating the importance of servers' energy efficiency.Some energy-saving mechanisms and policies are then reviewed,including DVFS,sleeping and virtual machine placement.Finally,several key issues on research and application for the green data center are discussed.
