Modeling and Simulation of Target Tracking System Based on Kalman Filter

Abstract
In order to improve the high-speed flight target tracking accuracy,filtering model is established for the flying target tracking system using Kalman filtering algorithm.After discretization of the continuous system,use singular value decomposition theory to obtain the discrete system equations.By the filter stability analysis,the system model is completely controllable and observable.Thus filtering system is stable.The simulation results show that using Calman filtering algorithm can obtain accurate position,velocity and acceleration of the high-speed flight target state information.Thus the system is able to trace the high-speed flight target more precisely.
