A Sort of Image Lossless Compression Method Based on Self-adaptive Prediction and Group Encoding

A self-adaptive prediction and group encoding method is proposed in combination with classic lossless prediction coding method and variable length encoding method.The pixel relevance of images with different texture features can be eliminated effectively through self-adaptive prediction encoding, after which the image lossless compression can be realized by group encoding in combination with regularities of distribution of image pixel values.The experiment results show that the proposed method has the features of high compression ratio and compression efficiency.
