Dynamic Voltage Allocation Algorithm with Preemption Threshold Scheduling

  • In order to implement real-time opration system on power sensitive embedded systems, a dynamic voltage allocation algorithm with preemption threshold is proposed. The implementation of dynamic voltage scaling(DVS) will cause more useless scheduling and make the task set hard to be scheduled. To solve the problems mentioned above, DVS can be used with preemption threshold scheduling(PTS). The voltage and frequency of processor can be further reduced with shedulable task set. The simulation results verified the advantage in reducing system power of the proposed algorithm.
